Wells County Trails is going to hold a public meeting regarding the potential of a trail on SR 124 connecting to the existing Interurban Trail (Poka-Bache Connector) on Main Street (SR 1). The meeting will be held on Thursday, September 29, 2022, at 7:00 PM at the Kingdom Academy of Bluffton, 225 Ferguson Park Ct., Bluffton, IN 46714. The purpose of this meeting is to have an open discussion regarding the mobility needs of the affected neighborhood, potential trail routes, trail design, and timeline. Wells County Trails sees the development of this trail segment as a high priority on the master trail plan for Wells County. All are welcome to attend.

Trails Challenge 

Our goal is to share the beauty and diversity of Wells County with those who are inspired to get out and enjoy our trail system around the county.
 
The 2022 Trails Challenge kicks off on August 6th, and will run through October. Passports will be available to download from the Wells County Trails website, or available for pickup at the Bluffton City Building. 
   
Complete at least 8 of the 16 trails one the passport before 11/01/2022, to receive a Trails Challenge completion medal. To be a true trailblazer, complete all 16 trails and receive a medal & a t-shirt! Turn in your completed passport at the Parks department office or snapping a picture of it and post it to your social media account and making sure to tag Wells County Trails. Medals will be available for pickup after 11/07.
 
Make sure to take pictures as you progress through the challenge, and tag Wells County trails on all the social media platforms.

Have your kids join in the fun with our scavenger hunt activity sheets. While on the trails, have you kids fill out these sheets, and return them to the city building for a prize!
